I grew up with Roger West as my Uncle Roger. He was a good human and did good things for people. He founded and built Wilderness On Wheels in Grant, Colorado, making the Rocky Mountains more accessible for people in wheelchairs or other mobility issues. I hadn’t seen Uncle Roger in many years, and his death came as a shock to me. My father let me know that Roger had died after Dad received an email from Roger’s wife letting him know the sad news. Roger was in my parents wedding. He was a local DJ and congressman from Jacksonville, Florida.
